From May to July the AOP Gallery, London, is hosting a plethora of exhibitions and events to inspire and educate. This is an invaluable opportunity for all aspiring photographers and industry professionals to get together and share ideas. The AOP hosts events dedicated to emerging photographers throughout the year. An invaluable opportunity to hear from established photographers and industry professionals on the latest developments, they are also very popular socially, being a good place to exchange information and ideas. To find out what events and workshops will be taking place check the Events area found at the top of this page. To view images from last years Student Awards have a look in the Gallery. The winning finalists' images from this years Student Awards will be displayed once the judges have made their decision; judging takes place on Wednesday April 2nd.

There will be an opportunity to purchase the New Shoots book after it's launch on May 20th. All winning images from the Student Awards 2008 will be featured as well as selected images from the six AOP affiliated college/university graduation shows showing in the Gallery from June 16 through to July 26. The book will cover tips and advice on how best to break into the industry as well as 'A Day in the Life Of...' editorials from some of the best in the business including photographers, assistants and agents.
